| What is a moderated, real-time discussion chat room? |
| A moderated discussion is an online GA LA group gathering where members can interact with one
another via the real-time chat feature. The discussion will be led and monitored by a moderator from the LA Intergroup Internet
Committee who is assigned the duty to ensure that discussions remain on topic and non-hostile. Messages of profanity or personal attacks will not be tolerated and are subject to removal from chat. |

| When will the moderated discussion be hosted? |
| Discussion schedules are set by the GA LA moderator and will be hosted monthly on specific times and dates.
Moderated discussions will typically be held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 8pm. The topics for discussion will be
posted in the forums for everyone to review prior to chatting. |

| What is a registered user? |
| A registered user is a member who has previously signed up on our GA LA web site. To become a registered user, click on the "sign up" button from the GA LA forum home page. |

| What does Username mean? |
| A Username is a unique ID that identifies who you are on the GALA web site. This Username has to be used with your own personal password to gain proper access online. This Username is also associated with all postings that you have contributed on our site, thus giving you credit for your participation. It also has an added benefit of preventing anonymous users from coming here for disruptive reasons. |

| What is a password? |
| A password is your own personal identification authorization code that when used in conjunction with your login name, provides you access into the member's only area. Passwords can consist of a combination of numbers or alphabets. It is recommended that you use at least 6 characters of alphanumeric code to be your password. |

| Why can't I see the chat room? Why does it ask me to log in? |
| The GA Lounge chat room is a member's only feature. Users who are not registered members of this site will not be able to view or participate in our chat discussions. |

| How do we protect people's anonymity? |
| We do not require emails for registration. We do not ask for personal identification information. All we require is a login name and password that you create to participate with us.

| Please note that moderated chats are only available at specific scheduled times. At this time, moderated
chats are scheduled monthly on the 3rd Wednesday at 8pm. if you wish to participate, you are welcome to post your opinions
and experiences within the forum discussion topics at any time after logging in. |
